The speciality of Public Health Inspector was established in the year 2000. It trains inspectors of public health, possessing the necessary knowledge in specialized medico-biological, humanitarian, social and other sciences, which enable them to carry out prophylaxis and health control in the field of communal hygiene, labour hygiene, nutritional hygiene, hygiene of childhood and adolescence, epidemiology, and others.
The activities of the public health inspector comply with the norms and abide by the requirements of the health legislation of our country. The graduates of this specialty can work in all units of the Regional Inspection of Public Health Protection and Control, the labor medicine office: ecology commissions, etc.
